Hair Retardent
The hair growth on prepubescent males and females is identical, but at puberty the release of male hormones into the body triggers the growth of facial and body hair in addition to the pubic and underarm hair developed by both genders. In some females, excess body or facial hair proves to be an embarrassing problem. It is possible to solve this problem by electrolysis, laser treatment or using transdermal treatment. The latter is painless and safe, but is a gradual process as it slowly weakens both the structure and colour of the hair to leave the fine downy hair typical of the female species. Oestrolactone Hair Retardent Cream contains 2 main active ingredients - Oestrogen and Spironolactone - which together act on the follicle to reduce both the colour and strength of the unwanted coarse hair.
